Reliable and detail-oriented? Join a growing team supporting mission-critical data center operations! We're looking for Data Center Rack Installation Technicians who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong background in server hardware and cabling installation.
Job Duties:
Precisely place server racks on the data center floor using laser measuring tools (100% accuracy expected).
Install electronic components and structured cabling into racks according to schematics and diagrams.
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to install rack hardware securely and accurately.
Operate material handling equipment including electric pallet jacks, straddle stackers, and rack movers.
Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance to identify and correct cabling or hardware issues.
Requirements:
Proficiency with server rack installation, configuration, and maintenance (including rack-mounted servers, switches, and storage devices).
Familiarity with server OS platforms (Windows Server, Linux) and virtualization tools (VMware, Hyper-V).
Basic understanding of networking (IP addressing, VLANs, subnetting, routing).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks in confined or elevated spaces.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills—especially under tight deadlines.
High attention to detail and accuracy with diagrams, schematics, and measurements.
Job Details:
Work Environment: Climate-controlled, indoor facility.
Pay: $21.00–$23.50/hour depending on experience and shift.
Shifts Available:
Shift A: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Mon–Fri)
Shift B: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Mon–Fri)
Shift C: 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Mon–Fri)
Shift D: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Thurs–Sun)
