Summary:
Operate and monitor blown and cast film extrusion lines to produce high-quality film products
Set up, adjust, and maintain extrusion equipment to meet production requirements
Perform quality checks to ensure film meets thickness, clarity, and color specifications
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently and safely
Troubleshoot and correct issues to minimize downtime and waste
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate extrusion equipment including dies, winders, and other machinery
Monitor process parameters such as temperature, speed, and pressure to maintain product consistency
Conduct visual and physical inspections for film quality and defects
Record accurate production data, material usage, and downtime information
Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and assist in equipment repairs when needed
Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE compliance
Work closely with supervisors and quality teams to meet daily production goals
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required (technical training preferred)
1–2 years of experience in blown or cast film extrusion strongly preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and follow work orders and quality specifications
Basic math and computer skills for data entry and measurements
Ability to stand, lift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed
Must pass a drug test and background check

Schedule
1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
2nd Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Rotation: Employees will follow a 3-2-2-3 schedule (work 3 days, off 2, work 2 days, off 3).
Shift Rotation: Shifts will rotate every 2 months between 1st and 2nd shift.
