Summary:
Operate and maintain slitting machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ensure materials are properly staged, processed, and packaged to meet production goals
Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout each shift
Follow safety and operational procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality output
Support continuous improvement and training within the production team
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and shut down slitting machines according to work orders
Monitor production schedules, materials, and machine settings for accuracy and quality
Perform product inspections, take samples, and enter quality data into the system
Safely handle raw materials and finished goods using hoists and forklifts
Package, label, and stage finished products and scrap materials
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols
Assist maintenance technicians with equipment repairs and adjustments
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
Willingness to work various shifts and overtime as needed
Must pass a drug test and background check

Schedule
1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
2nd Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Rotation: Employees will follow a 3-2-2-3 schedule (work 3 days, off 2, work 2 days, off 3).
Shift Rotation: Shifts will rotate every 2 months between 1st and 2nd shift.
